Ancore

Our client required a safe, controlled excavation solution within a highly constrained area containing multiple live underground services, where traditional digging methods carried an unacceptable level of risk. Protecting existing utilities while maintaining programme certainty was critical.

Ancore provided a suction excavator operated by a fully trained specialist, allowing excavation to be carried out with pinpoint accuracy. The non-destructive nature of suction excavation enabled material to be removed safely around live services without physical contact, eliminating the risk of damage to buried utilities and significantly improving overall site safety.

The approach delivered clear advantages on site. Excavation works were completed faster and more efficiently, with no need for service repairs, work stoppages, or additional safety controls associated with conventional methods. Most importantly, the works were completed with zero service strikes, giving the client complete confidence in both the process and the outcome.

As a result, the project was delivered safely, on programme, and without incident, reinforcing Ancore’s capability to provide intelligent, low-risk excavation solutions in complex service environments.
